Bacon and leek tart.

Last night I watched Gordon Ramsay cooking show and of course I had to try it by myself. I mean if he can do this and claim I can do this, why not to try this? So, here are pictures of leek, bacon tart.



What you need for tart pastry is:
- flour (400 grams)
- butter (200 grams)
- pinch of salt
- few spoons of cold water


Knead the pastry and put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

For filling:
- bacon (200 grams) nicely chopped
- 3 young leeks
- 5 eggs
- parsley
- cheese







Fry bacon and add leeks. Drain grease and set aside to cool down. Beat eggs and add bacon and leeks. Cut parsley and cheese. Mix it all. Put your pastry in the oven without filling for about fifteen minutes. Try to use some beans or rice so that pastry won't grow to much and won't fall down on the sides. After this time remove rice and fill with your filling. Add some extra cheese on the top and rest of parsley. Keep it in the oven for another 15 minutes until your eggs won't be congeal. And voila!
